STOCKPHOTOMEDIA - We neds all types of photographs and images, but some subjects are by far more popularly requested and these are the ones that generate the most business and consequently revenue.

We are always on the lookout for fresh new photographs and images. But not just any photographs, we particularly need shots that designers and other professionals can work with, and those that are currently popular. We have therefore provided you with the following to be used as a guideline – your originality is always welcome!

People

This is by far the most popularly requested type of shots. Take shots of family members, friends, acquaintances and colleagues who for some reason stand out from the crowd. Please do not forget the Model Release!

Suggestions

Enjoy combining your creativity and talent – the best images are often captured when you least expect them.

Choose your subject carefully and then compose your shot to ensure your subject is perfectly featured.

Make sure you have premium colours - maybe a colour boost in the Photoshop!

Lighting is of utmost importance - some pure white and pure black are good - check them in the Photoshop.

Try to compose shots that can be used in a wide variety of designs.

The more popular the photograph or image, the more income it will generate for you. Once you have taken the photograph or image and it has been accepted, your work is done and the shot will now begin to work for you.

All photographs and images submitted must have been taken by you personally. Do not include any buildings, company logotypes, trademarks or recognisable human face, in part or whole, etc. – unless you upload a Model/Property Release with them.

We do not refuse any images...

...but take all images and photos into consideration – pets, sunsets & clouds, flowers and forest snapshots, etc. However, there are lots of inferior pictures of thes; second-rate photos and images readily available to the public and we are not interested in adding to these collections. On the other hand truly high quality snapshots of pets, sunsets & clouds, flowers and forest, with no noise & compression, with excellent lighting & composition, useful concepts, etc. stand a far better chance of being accepted.
